During the month of January 2006, Justin Cooper, with the invaluable efforts and input of Reed Barrow, Benjamin Bellas, and Clinton King created four large-scale, multi-media performances at Monique Meloche Gallery in Chicago, IL.
The Party, The Appointment, The Board Meeting, The Merger were each performed over the course of four weekends and served to form a loose over-arching narrative that culminated, with objects, actions, and personalities into four residual installations. This process of configuring and re-configuring the space, of navigating each individual ego's relationship to the others, and of the creation of four distinct yet connected entities was known collectively as Middle Management
